Who Qualifies To Get A Bursary Or University Student Loan From NSFAS?



The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application procedure.

Applications at the moment are open and can close on fifteen December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to satisfy the following requirements:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a house using a combined gross home earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for every annum.

• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined home profits does not exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and want not post any proof of nsfas application income.

*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle

The NSFAS here Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent residents from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
